Tibetan Aid Project’s international chapters include:

Volunteers at these international centers educate their local communities about the importance of Tibetan culture and raise funds for the production of books and art.

Programs include:

• Producing prayer flags and meditation cushions
• Holding benefit dinners
• Organizing visual presentations and exhibits

Tibetan Aid Project is one of several organizations founded by Tarthang Tulku. Each works in a different way to preserve Tibet’s spiritual traditions and share them with the West.

• Tibetan Nyingma Meditation Center (TNMC)
  represents the spiritual heart of the community founded by Tarthang Tulku.
• Yeshe De Text Preservation Project
  preserves the written heritage of Tibet and supports research and translation.
• Dharma Publishing
  publishes works in Western languages, in addition to sacred art prints.
• Nyingma Institute
  offers retreats, classes, and workshops for a Western audience.
• Odiyan
  is a Tibetan Buddhist center in the West constructed as a three-dimensional mandala.
• Nyingma Trust
  supports the Nyingma Community founded by Tarthang Tulku.
• Guna Foundation
  shares the accomplishments of the mandala of organizations created by Tarthang Tulku.
• Ratna Ling
  a non-profit retreat center with an emphasis on exploration and education

Nyingma Mandala

In the Tibetan tradition, a mandala is a structure that organizes ideas according to an ideal form. It has a central point that unfolds in the four cardinal directions, each expressing the central goals and values in a different way.

The Nyingma organizations relate to one another like the petals of a mandala. Together, they form a cohesive whole, achieving more through cooperation than the different parts could accomplish individually.
